About Miletich Design - Products & Services
Monday, 30 April 2007

In 2003 Nick Miletich Web Design was founded with a philosophy to offer high quality yet cost effective web services tailored to the specific needs of small to medium sized businesses and nonprofits.

As a small business owner, I realize how vital it is for a company to have a professional web presence, but I also know just how difficult it can be for a small company to get professional web services without paying through the nose.

I wanted to create the kind of business that I would want to do business with, offering the quality of service I would hope to receive myself. With this in mind, from the very beginning I have built my business around 4 key principles:

01

Customer Service

Being one person I'm small enough to be able to offer a truly personal service. You will never be put on hold, or be asked to navigate a complex telephone menu system.

I don't believe you should have to pay to ask me for advice. That's why I offer a free, no obligation consultation to every customer.

I believe that good customer service doesn't just stop once your website is finished; I'm always at the end of the phone should you need any free advice or support.

02

Appropriate Solutions

I don't believe in trying to sell you something that you don't really need. I listen to what you need & offer clear, jargon-free advice.

I understand how confusing it can be trying to get online. That's why I created my popular all-in-one package, giving you everything you need for a professional internet presence on even the most limited of budgets.

03

Quality Assurance

Every website I produce is approached as if it was my own. I take great care and pride in ensuring that your site is as polished and professional as possible.

All projects are produced with web standards (proper coding) and accessibility in mind.

I strive to produce sites that are easy to use, quick to download, and compatible with all major current browsers.

04

 Realistic Prices

I don't believe that you should have to pay through the nose to give your business a quality website. With my wide range of solutions, there will always be one to suit your budget.

I don't believe that deceiving people is good business. For all of my services, the price you see is the price you pay.

I firmly believe that by basing my business around these 4 key principles, I can offer you the best service for your business. Why not contact me to see how I can help you?

About Miletich Design - Products & Services

Here's some background information on web content management systems.

A web content management system is a computer system used to manage and control a large, dynamic collection of web material (HTML documents and their associated images). A CMS facilitates document control, auditing, editing, and time-line management.

A Web CMS provides the following key features:

01

Easily editable content

Once your content is separate from the visual presentation of your site, it usually becomes much easier and quicker to edit and manipulate. Most CMS software include WYSIWYG editing tools allowing non-technical individuals to create and edit content.

02
Automated templates

Create standard visual templates that can be automatically applied to new and existing content, creating one central place to change that look across a group of content on a site.

03

Scalable feature sets

Most CMS have plug-ins or modules that can be easily installed to extend an existing site's functionality.

04

Work-flow management

Work-flow is the process of creating cycles of sequential and parallel tasks that must be accomplished in the CMS. For example, a content creator submits a story but it's not published on the website until the copy editor cleans it up, and the editor-in-chief approves it.

05

Document management

CMS solutions may provide a means of managing the life cycle of a document from initial creation time, through revisions, publication, archive, and document destruction.

06
Web standards upgrades

Active CMS solutions usually receive regular updates that include new feature sets and keep the system up to current web standards.
